Burlington native joins Hy-Vee’s Hall of Fame
WEST DES MOINES — Burlington native and Notre Dame High School graduate Lucas Glasgow has been named to the Hy-Vee Hall of Fame.
Glasgow — currently senior vice president and president of Hy-Vee’s Dollar Fresh Market stores, but formerly a regional vice president for Hy-Vee’s northwest Iowa region — was named Hy-Vee’s Regional Vice President of the Year for 2022.
Glasgow’s Hy-Vee career began in 1997 as a part-time courtesy clerk and checker/stocker at the South Hy-Vee in Burlington.
While attending college, Glasgow worked at both the South Hy-Vee and the Lantern Park Plaza Hy-Vee in Coralville.
Glasgow was promoted to full-time status in 2004 as an assistant manager at the Lantern Park Plaza store.
In 2006, he moved to the Austin store as an assistant manager of store operations.
In 2007, he was promoted to manager of perishables, and later that year transferred to the Eastside Hy-Vee in Iowa City as manager of store operations.
In 2011, Glasgow was given his first store director assignment in Owatonna, Minnesota.
