Daniel McFadden Obituary
Daniel Edward McFadden, 86, of Granger, died Thursday, November 23, 2023, at the Granger Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Granger, IA.
Born July 29, 1937, in Davenport, he was the son of George Raymond and Sarah Ernestine Noble McFadden.
Dan worked as a janitor for C&E and many other jobs over his lifetime.
Daniel was deeply religious with his Catholic faith and he was a member of Divine Mercy Parish. He enjoyed bike riding, playing the piano and chess.
Survivors include his brother, Joseph (Eve) McFadden; two sisters, Anne Marie (Doug) Stewart and Marilyn (Jerry) Tobin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Patricia Oltman.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.
The Memorial Mass of the Resurrection for Mr. McFadden will be announced later this spring. Inurnment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for Divine Mercy Parish.
