– The Heart of America Athletic Conference has unveiled the 2024 Women's Volleyball All-Conference Teams and postseason awards, highlighting standout players from across the league. The All-Conference selections and major awards, including Player, Attacker, Setter, Defender, Freshman, Coach, and Assistant Coach of the Year, were determined by the league's 13 head women's volleyball coaches.



First Team: Sydney Beasley & Chevy Wagner-Chun
Sydney Beasley

dominated on both offense and defense, finishing the season with 316 kills, a .283 hitting percentage, and 132 total blocks, averaging 1.10 blocks per set. Her ability to excel at the net and in transition made her an undeniable force on the court. Joining her on the First Team,

Chevy Wagner-Chun

anchored the Vikings' defense with 612 digs, averaging 5.10 digs per set, while adding 48 service aces. Chevy's leadership and all-around contributions made her one of the league's top liberos.



Second Team: Jenna Bentz
Jenna Bentz

earned Second Team honors with her exceptional playmaking as the team's primary setter. She dished out 1,018 assists, averaging 8.48 assists per set, while also contributing defensively with 251 digs (2.09 per set). Her .297 hitting percentage and 67 total blocks underscored her impact on both ends of the court.



Third Team: Ellie Dougherty
Ellie Dougherty

secured Third Team recognition with her balanced play as an outside hitter and defensive specialist. She totaled 356 kills, averaging 2.97 kills per set, while adding 74 digs and 37 total blocks. Ellie's ability to step up in key moments highlighted her importance to the Vikings' success.



Honorable Mention: Maiah Kalima-Izumi & Brooklyn Roder
Maiah Kalima-Izumi

stood out as a versatile freshman, tallying 349 digs, 34 assists, and 31 service aces while excelling in multiple roles. Sophomore

Brooklyn Roder

provided steady offense with 279 kills (2.33 per set) and 60 total blocks, consistently delivering when the team needed her.



Each of these players demonstrated remarkable skill and dedication throughout the season, earning their recognition as some of the best in the Heart of America Conference.
