While students were busy selling POG raffle tickets, middle school students were challenged to write an essay about what they would do if they won the big prize!! Each student researched a charitable organization, a Saint who gave up their fortune to follow Christ and then thought about how it would feel to give up their $100,000 prize. Essays were written anonymously, judged by a local panel and one was selected. The winner of the Pot of Blue and Gold Essay contest is eighth grader Daisy Hazell... "
