Sixth grade studied about Our Lady of Guadalupe this week. We celebrated this great Marian apparition for the America's by enjoying nachos! Our Lady appeared to Juan Diego in 1531 when many natives were worshipping false gods. This event is responsible for millions of conversions to the faith. Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for us!
Students prayed for patience in the waiting during an Advent Prayer Service... Jesus, we will wait with You!
What the students see when they walk upstairs for some of their classes. An old case full of statues of saints and 2 relics. The Jesse Tree that is decorated with an ornament everyday while Old Testament Scripture is read every morning during announcements.

Students made Advent Angels to decorate the tree in the school's chapel. They colored and wrote their names on their angels. Each student will choose one from the tree on Friday so they can pray for that individual during Advent! A blessing to be able to pray for each other!
